Which Fallout game is the Fallout TV show based on?
Series showrunner Jonathan Nolan says the new Fallout show on Prime Video is not based on any one game, but is meant to exist alongside them in the same post-apocalyptic world.
“Our series sits in relation to the games as the games sit in relation to each other,” Nolan told Total Film (via GamesRadar) ahead of the series’ release. “It’s almost like we’re Fallout 5.”

Fallout is available on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service. The show premieres on April 11.
How many episodes are there in the Fallout series?
The first season of Fallout includes eight episodes. All eight episodes will drop at the same time on April 11.
Who is in the cast of Fallout?
The Fallout series stars Ella Purnell as Lucy, Walton Goggins as The Ghoul and Aaron Moten as Maximus. Kyle MacLachlan, Michael Emerson, Johnny Pemberton and Moises Arias are also part of the cast.

Where is the Fallout TV show set?
The Fallout series takes place in the ruins of Los Angeles, California, a city that players have yet to experience in one of the games.
The Fallout and Fallout 2 games took place in New California, a stretch that included much of the western United States along the Pacific Ocean. However, those games didn’t specifically happen in Los Angeles.
Fallout 3 was set in the ruins of Washington, D.C., dubbed the Capital Wasteland, while DLC for the game sent players to “The Pitt” (Pittsburgh) and Anchorage, Alaska.
Fallout: New Vegas was set in the American Southwest around Las Vegas, Nevada, with DLC for Zion National Park in Utah.The Fallout 4 game mostly took place in and around Boston, Massachusetts, while Fallout 76 was set in the Appalachians.
Will there be a Fallout season 2?
Graham Wagner, the co-showrunner on Fallout, says he hopes there will be a Season 2 of the show.
Speaking to Total Film (via Comicbook.com), Wagner said they crafted the season finale to provide closure while also leaving the door open for more stories.
“We feel we’ve barely scratched the surface of the Fallout universe,” he said. “We literally have documents and documents of stuff that we’re, in success, eager to dig into. Our fingers are crossed that we’re going to get the opportunity to do all that stuff.”
